Welcome to the 4th Annual Genesee Health Plan Health Heritage Essay Contest, open to middle/junior high and high school students (grades 6-12) in Genesee County. Students are encouraged to speak with their family members to learn about their family health history. Essay should address the student’s family health history, with a focus on oral health and its impact on their overall health and wellbeing. The 2nd Annual Health Career Scholarship Contest is open to high school seniors in Genesee County planning to pursue a career on oral health. Essay must include the oral health career chosen and why; the importance of oral health and its effect on physical health, and how oral health shapes future success.
