Welcome to the 5th Annual Genesee Health Plan Health Heritage Essay Contest, open to Elementary School (Grades 5 and 6 only) Middle/Junior High and High School Students in Genesee County. Students are encouraged to speak with their family members to learn about their family health history. Essay should address the student’s family health history, focusing on why it’s important and their plans for a healthy future. Essays can be submitted by email to: email@example.com. The 3rd Annual Health Career Scholarship Contest is open to high school seniors in Genesee County planning to pursue a career in the healthcare field. Essay must include health career chosen and why; the importance of good health, student’s goals for their future in the chosen field and the impact they hope to make in their chosen field.
