Genesee Health Plan Communications Coordinator, Shannon Ciszek, joined organizations across Genesee County to celebrate the ribbon cutting for MTA’s new J. Michael Zelley Center for Training & Development. The building honors Michael Zelley, founder of The Disability Network and strong advocate for ADA (American Disabilities Act) training for those in transit positions. Mid-Michigan NOW reports that MTA hopes to carry out their mission through courses that will enhance the skills and job performance of MTA employees, ensure their safety on the road, and create additional opportunities in public transportation.
