About GHP

Genesee Health Plan (GHP) provides health care coverage and life-saving services to the uninsured residents of Genesee County. For the last 25 years, the plan has provided more than 100,000 county residents with doctor visits, mental health counseling, prescription drugs, labs, mammograms, cancer screenings and treatment, and dental care — delivering routine care and peace of mind for our friends, neighbors, veterans, and seniors when they need it most.

Additionally, GHP provides enrollment services into Medicaid, Healthy Michigan Plan, Medicare and the HealthCare.Gov Marketplace. No one should be without health care coverage in Genesee County, call the GHP office at 810-232-7740 to schedule an appointment if you don’t have health coverage.

Genesee Health Plan (GHP) is open to the public for in-person, virtual, and over-the-phone appointments. Please note that scheduled appointments take priority. Based on availability, walk-in’s will be seen after scheduled appointments if time and staffing allow. You may have to wait if you walk in.

GHP office/phone line hours: Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm

Document drop-off/pick-up hours: Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm

Walk-in appointment hours: Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm *Clients arriving after 4pm can schedule an appointment.*

The health care coverage, including  senior and veteran’s dental coverage, that Genesee Health Plan provides is funded by the Genesee County “Health Care Services Millage”.
