Medicare – Open Enrollment CLOSED


Did you miss the Open Enrollment period? You may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period if you were unable to enroll due to a life changing circumstance. Genesee Health Plan has a team of caring enrollment counselors available to assist you with enrollment into a Medicare Plan that works best for you.

GHP/phone lines are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Genesee Health Plan (GHP) is open to the public for in-person, virtual, and over-the-phone appointments. To schedule an in-person, virtual, or over-the-phone appointment, please call 844-232-7740 and select option 0 for the operator.

Please have the following required documents when you call:

  • Prescription drug list with dosage amounts
  • Medicare card with new Medicare number

Did you opt out of Medicare and need help?

Every year the General Enrollment Period (GEP) for Medicare occurs between January 1 and March 31. This is the time—and usually the only time—during which people who are eligible for Medicare Parts A and/or B but did not do so when first eligible have another opportunity to join.
