On Thursday, August 13th, Genesee Health Plan honored the winners of our 11th Annual Health Heritage Essay Contest, sponsored by Sovita Credit Union! Every year, students in Genesee County in grades 5-13 compete for the chance to win a gift card prize and bragging rights by interviewing their family members and learning about their family health history. Students wrote about their health, family health history, and goals they can make to keep themselves and their families healthy.
