What’s Covered


The Genesee Health Plan (GHP) provides basic affordable health care coverage for those who may work one, two or even three jobs but don’t receive health care coverage from their employer or may have lost their job.  The plan ensures that thousands of Genesee County individuals, families and seniors have access to primary and preventive health care services.  Over the last 23 years, one in five Genesee County residents has received coverage from GHP.

  • Cancer Screenings
  • Outpatient Mental Health Services
  • Prescription Drugs
  • Dental
  • Vaccinations

GHP also provides dental care coverage for seniors and veterans with no monthly fee and includes exams, x-rays, fillings and extractions.  Click here for more information.

Plan B

Here you can find the Genesee Health Plan Member Handbook.  The handbook will provide a detailed and comprehensive guide to what is covered by Genesee Health Plan, Plan B.  It is important to remember that just because a service is not listed here as covered that no other options exist.  We encourage you to contact Genesee Health Plan’s Main office at (810) 232-7740 if you are in need of a service that is not covered.
