GHP Virtual Appointment

Welcome to your virtual appointment with Genesee Health Plan!

Your virtual appointment will require the use of your microphone and camera on the device you are going to use so you can virtually meet with our GHP staff.

If you have an iOS device (Apple iPhone or Apple iPad), follow the steps below to enable your microphone and camera before your appointment:

1. Go to your device “Settings”
2. Select your internet browser “Safari”
3. Select “Camera”- then select “Allow”
4. Select “Microphone” – then select “Allow”

Before checking into your virtual appointment, please have the following documents ready:

1. Photo ID or Driver’s License with current Genesee County address
2. Proof of all household income for the last 30 days
   1. If self-employed, please have your last year’s tax return
3. Social Security card or W-2/Tax Statement with full name and full Social Security Number (for new clients)
   1. If applying for HealthCare.Gov Marketplace, or Medicaid (Healthy Michigan Plan), please have Name, Date of Birth and Social Security Number for ALL Tax Dependents

Use the link that was sent to you by email or text to log into Doxy. Please log in at least 5 minutes before your appointment:

1. Type your first name into the box and click “Check In”
2. You will be placed into the virtual waiting room
3. A GHP staff member will start your appointment at your scheduled time

OPTIONAL: If you wish to disable/return to default settings on your iOS device (Apple iPhone or Apple iPad), follow the steps below after your appointment:

1. Go to your device “Settings”
2. Select your internet browser “Safari”
3. Select “Camera”- then select “Ask”
4. Select “Microphone” – then select “Ask”
