Jean Conyers celebrated her 85th birthday today, Nov. 10 with family, close friends, the President and CEO/Director of Outreach of Genesee Health Plan (GHP) at Olive Garden on Miller Road.  Jim Milanowski, President and CEO of GHP and E. Yvonne Lewis, Director of Outreach, presented Jean with a beautiful plaque, celebrating her accomplishments and contributions to Genesee Health Plan and the community which spanned over thirteen years.

The plaque read:

“In recognition of Jean Conyers, a founding member of the Genesee Health Plan Board of Directors in 2001, her dedication and commitment to the Genesee County community.”

Contributions to Genesee Health Plan:

• GHP Board of Directors from 2001-2014
• Played a vital role in promoting, supporting and volunteering for the passage of the two Genesee Health Care Millages in 2006 and 2012
• Provided her time, expertise and guidance to GHP through her unwavering faith to improve the health and wellbeing of the community
