FLINT — The Genesee Health Plan (GHP) along with Burton Parks & Recreation will sponsor Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” Aug. 26 as part of the third year of Movies in the Park. The showing will be held at Burton Eagles Club, 3317 E. Bristol Road. Family activities will kick off at 7 p.m. and the movie will begin at dusk. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets and will be able to attend a meet and greet with a guest superhero and princesses with opportunities for photos. There will also be a safety corner with a fire engine, police cruiser and ambulance. Complimentary snacks will be served and children can participate in a craft corner and play in a bounce house. Parking is available at the Burton Eagles Club with additional parking available at C & M Wire Rope & Supply Co located at 3347 E. Bristol Road.
