GHP Presents “Laughter is the Best Medicine” at 2017 Women’s Expo

The Genesee Health Plan is excited to bring comedienne Melissa Hager, Founder of the Comedy Series, Michigan’s traveling Comedy Club, to the Cumulus Time of Your Life Women’s Expo at the Dort Federal Credit Union Center on Sept. 9. She will go on stage at noon and bring laughter to attendees through her show “Laughter is the Best Medicine.” We encourage community members to come out to see Melissa’s performance, especially because research shows there are many health benefits to laughing, including reducing stress and supporting better overall health and mood.

Genesee Health Plan will also have two vendor booths at the Women’s Expo on Sept. 8-9 to talk to attendees about our two women’s health programs, including our breast and cervical cancer screening program and our health screenings and support services for women ages 40-64. We hope to see you there!
