FLINT — Genesee Health Plan (GHP) announced today it will host its fourth annual Genesee Health Plan Drive-Thru Immunization event on Friday, Oct. 13 from 3-6 p.m. The event will take place at Genesee Health Plan’s office located at 2171 S. Linden Road, Flint.
“Our Drive-Thru Immunization event is a fast, convenient and innovative way for Genesee County residents to protect themselves and their families during the winter months. Attendees can drive through one of our service bays, roll down their window and roll up their sleeve to conveniently receive their flu shot,” said GHP President and CEO Jim Milanowski. “This event is one of many ways that GHP provides the Genesee County Community with life-saving health services, including flu shots and healthcare resources.”
Attendees can drive through one of GHP’s two drive-in service bays or go inside GHP’s office for their flu shots. New this year, GHP will have blood pressure screenings and Body Mass Index (BMI) screenings as well as Tdap, Shingles and Pneumonia vaccines available inside GHP’s office.
