GHP to be Honored at Motherly Intercession Fundraising Dinner, Nov. 11

The Genesee Health Plan (GHP) will be among several honorees recognized at the Motherly Intercession “Unlock the Future” Fundraising Dinner on Nov. 11 as a recipient of the “Essential Piece Award.” GHP is honored to be an award recipient and to be one of several partners with Motherly Intercession. The Essential Piece Award recognizes individuals and organizations that are champions for children with incarcerated parents and for their contributions to the community. GHP, in partnership with Motherly Intercession, helps assist incarcerated individuals, their family and friends with enrollment and access to health care coverage. Through a grant awarded to Motherly Intercession by GHP, both organizations help connect the uninsured within the Genesee County community to health care resources.

“Unlock the Future” is an annual fundraising dinner for children of incarcerated parents. This year’s dinner will take place at Davison Knights of Columbus Hall on 8428 E. Davison Road in Davison.
