“Our number one goal at the Genesee Health Plan is to make sure all residents have access to quality health coverage,” said GHP President and CEO Jim Milanowski. “The deadline for enrolling in healthcare coverage is quickly approaching, so we encourage anyone who has questions about healthcare or needs help with enrolling into coverage to attend the forum.”
The deadline to enroll in healthcare coverage through the Healthcare Marketplace is Dec. 15 with healthcare coverage beginning Jan. 1, 2018. In order for coverage to take effect Jan. 1, individuals must enroll into health coverage, find a plan and pay their premiums by Dec. 15.
“Making sure residents are enrolled in quality healthcare coverage is a key part of supporting good community health and keeping our community healthy,” said State Rep. Tim Sneller. “I am looking forward to hosting this event with Genesee Health Plan and making sure residents have the information and assistance they need to get enrolled in the right healthcare coverage by Dec. 15.”
