Meet GHP Member, Scott Elton.
52-year-old Scott Elton has been working with his hands his entire life. The Flint area carpenter depends on them to survive. Despite what the weather is outside, his work must continue inside with home remodeling projects. In 2012 his livelihood was threatened after unbearable pain due to carpal tunnel syndrome.“How would I provide for himself? The pain was all from the work that I do. Over so many slips and falls, not breaks, but cracks and fractures, things that never healed.”
Elton’s situation is an example of how Genesee Health Plan is there to help when people need it most. Watch his video to learn how GHP helped him.
